Endometrial polyps

Endometrial polyps are growths that form on the lining of the uterus (called the endometrium). They can vary in size and might be attached to the uterine wall by a stalk, or they could be broad-based.

OB-GYN care for endometrial polyps involves diagnosing the condition using imaging tests, discussing treatment options, and possibly removing the polyps if they’re causing problems or if there’s concern about cancer. The treatment approach depends on the symptoms, the size of the polyps, and other individual factors.
